Staff at First Church and Parish

For 2007-8 the church's staff includes the following:

	The Rev. Rali M. Weaver is the new Parish Minister of First Church and Parish in Dedham. Rev. Weaver comes to us from King's Chapel in Boston, where she was Assistant Minister. A special education teacher for 13 years, Rev. Weaver received a Masters of Divinity from Bangor Theological Seminary in 2003. She was called to a life of service as a young person and says "I believe that church is meant to be a place of empowerment." Contact Rev. Weaver
	Judy Butler serves as Church Administrator from 9 a.m. - Noon on weekdays at First Church. She has been a member of the church for over 10 years, volunteering for various committees, helping out with the Parish Players and teaching church school classes. She is also a board member of the Massachusetts Association for Gifted Education.
	Linnea Bardarson, Music Director, has performed with the Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra, Kaleidoscope Chamber Ensemble, Chorus pro Musica, and the Massachusetts Symphony, among others. She has served on the music faculties of University of Massachusetts Boston, Northeastern University, and Brookline Music School. She joined the staff at First Church after 10 years as the Music Director at First Congregational Church in Somerville. A native of Seattle, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from MillsCollege in Oakland, CA and her Master of Music degree from New England Conservatory. Linnea lives in Dedham with her husband and twin boys.
