Giving Opportunities  

Traditionally around the holidays we support Renewal House, a Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry Shelter for abused women and children. To this end we collect mittens and hats, which we collect on the last Sunday (December 18) during worship. Susan Sennott will be on hand on December 11th with families wish lists for those in need of some Christmas cheer. If you are interested in contributing please email Susan Sennott or contact the church office.

 AMAZON.COM Did you know if you are ordering from Amazon.com and you click on the Amazon link through our dedhamuu.org email address we receive a percentage commission?  Last year our budget benefited from $300 in commissions.  So if you are shopping Amazon we hope you will first log on to www.dedhamuu.org!

THE DOUG ELLIOT CHALLENGE Doug Elliot challenged us all to consider trying to Find 100, $100 donations to make up the deficit in our fiscal year 2011/12 budget.  So far the fund has grown to $2,600.  If you would like to take him up on this challenge you can do so by designating your donation to the Doug Elliot Challenge. _____________________________________________________________

This year we will again be striving to raise more money in creative ways to support our operating budget for the year. 

 More ideas are always needed.  We hope you will float  your big ideas to the Parish Committee  and see where it takes us.  If you would like to make a pledge or donation to the 2011/12 budget please contact the Treasurer.  We need a lot of little successes to make our goal and everyone can participate in their own way.
