Hello families and caregivers,

 

Last week in UUEP we had nursery care and class in Coming of Age.  All other kids participated in a cool deed.  With Dale Meyer-Curley the kids created a pledge drive for the refugees in our town.  During coffee hour they asked the congregation to pledge an item of need for the refugees and in return they received a Fraser Fir sapling.
 

There is a donation box in the dining room.  If you were not in service on Sunday and would like to donate please bring a dry item to church on Sunday.

 

This Sunday I am leading worship!  Please join us if you can.
 

The Coming of Age and Neighboring Faiths classes are both meeting.  Coming of Age will be looking at white supremacist culture. Neighboring Faiths will be looking at Buddhism. We will have nursery care available and all other kids will be in service with us.

 

I have arranged a virtual overdose prevention training.  It is scheduled for tomorrow Thursday 4/25 from 4-5pm.  If you would like to attend please reach out to me and I will send you the Zoom link.

 

On 5/19 the Coming of Age class will be taking a walking tour of Roxbury through the UU Urban Ministry.  They will be looking at this community and discussing its rebirth and cultural significance.  Anyone who would like to come along are welcome!
